![]() ![]() Hello there, Stranger! Welcome to my humble little blog. The name's Tammie, but friends call me Tam (not 'thumb'). Who am I, you ask? I'm not that smart top-scorer girl in your class. I'm not that pretty lass you always see on the streets either. I am passionate, stubborn and emotional. My absolute most favorite thing to do is hanging out with people I care & love. My passion burns for Jesus & photography. I wish to travel more and see more. This blog was created so I get to jot down my feelings. Happenings in life. That is, if I'm not too lazy to update ;) |

![]() The glass bottle incident
See this bottle? It's a glass bottle. Karnee intorduced me to this drink - it's Ribena sparkling juice! and it tates better then wine.. (for me lar) ![]() The original look of Ribena sparkling juice I stiped off the plastic wrapper around the bottle cuz I thought it'd look really nice as a glass bottle. We sldom see drinks being sold in glass bottles nowadays right? That's why I kept this Ribina Karnee gave me. My mum filed it up with drinking water and left it on the table. I was in the middle of doing revision yesterday when my 7 year old sister saw the glass bottle and being a nosy girl, she askd me 'Jie, what's that?' I jokingly answerd 'Why? It's Beer.' She may not know what colour beer is but she sure knows what beer is. So she looked at me in amazement. She couldn't take her eyes of the glass bottle for the next 15 minutes. At last she asked 'Can I try?' *I've warned her a 1000000 & 10 times not to touch my things so she's smart enough to ask me..hehe* I wanted to do something fun so I said ' Okay, you do me a favor then I let you drink' After doing me a favour, I let her have a drink of plain water. The first thing she said after finding out she was tricked was 'IT'S WATER!!' (Very smart girl..! That's why mom warned us never to take sweets from stranger when you are so easily tricked, even from your own sister.) But that's not the end of this story. Apparently, my sister was so amused that I manage to pull her leg that she took the bottle outside and the next think I heard was a cheeky voice shouting 'Hey *Elmer look! I'm drinking BEER!!' *Elmer is my sister's friend. Oops. My mum heard all of this and she turned to me and said 'Very smart la.. Teach you sister nonsense somemore.' It occured to me later that some of the neighbours are outside. Especially Elmer's mother. Lesson of the day: NEVER joke with your sister about beer. Lesson learnt. Thank you Rachel. For making my life more I *heart* you. Labels: baby sister back to top? 12 comments |

![]() Footie Fever
My sister is obsess with Kaka. No, let me rephrase that. My kid sister is obsess with Kaka. Nah.. that's not it, it's more like, My SEVEN year old sister is obsess with Kaka. If you're wondering who da heck is Kaka. This is Kaka. ![]() wait, he's not in his element in this picture. Ok, this one's better. ![]() Yin (my cousin) must be going "WTF????!?!?!?!?!?" But my reaction was more like "WTH??!?!?!!?!?" Maybe because I'm not a football hater so I'm cooler with my sister's taste then Yin. Uhh.. my 7 year old sister has a pretty good taste if you ask me. I mean, Kaka is cute. Plus, I heard he's not a bad football player either. Of course, I would hear all these stuff if I live under the same roof with two other male kaki-football. If only you can see Rachel's reaction when she sees football on TV. She'd go "AHHHH!! KAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKA~~!!" Okay, so I was exaggerating but it was something like that. Her eyes would lit up. And she'd stare at the screen asking 'Is that Kaka?' The funny thing is she may think she's in love with Kaka but she can't really recognize him. Why do I know this? It was during her 'Kaka-scrap-book' thing that I found out. She was flipping through the news paper looking for Kaka's picture to cut and paste in her scarp book, when she asked me for help. I was 'Okay. What do you need?' I thought she needed glue or scissors or something like that. But Rac went 'Which one is Kaka? I can't find him.' Goodness Gracious. This girl is worser then me. So for the next half an hour I had to help her point out which footballer is Kaka. After completing her scrap book she was overjoyed. She kept showing off her book to my dad. I'm sure my father was like, 'OMG. My Teenage daughter is in love with some actor in Prison Break and now you are in love with a footballer. Great. Just great.' Ahh well, if boys can be boys I don't suppose why girls can't be girls *wink* btw I'm not as crazy as my sista, I DO NOT have a scrap book full of Wenty's picture. ![]() The bo liao things we did
I was super bo liao ('wu liao' minus the 'wu' substitute with Hokian 'bo') yesterday night.Spent half an hour taking my neighbor's front door picture. Bo liao, right? But I super likey the results I get. By using my neighbor's light: Original scene (neighbor's house) ***Prayin' my neighbor's won't find out bout this blog & decides to sue me.*** I got to do this: Gimme a 'L' Gimme an 'O' Gimme a 'V' Gimme an 'E' What does it spell?? L O V E Yeah I know, my *heart* is upside down. It took me sometime to realize that whatever way I move my camera, the image appeared will be the other way around. So if I wanted to write a 'M', I have to move my camera lans in the way I'm writing 'W' Yup. something like mirror image. Smart. So that heart I drew was the 1st time I drew anything with the camera. Hence, it's Terbalik. I found this uber cute t-shirt my aunt got from Hong Kong for Rachel. Sampat poh (HAHA) did some poses: The Superman Pose The Check-Out-My-Behind Pose The Hercules Pose See, this Zha Bo shared the same 'Bo Liao' genes with me *proud* How she washed her shoes. Ahh.. there's only enough bo liao-ness for one day. Will update soon~ Labels: baby sister, my life, photos back to top? 6 comments |

![]() Baby Girl is 1 year older~
![]() It's her birthday~! I can't believe my wee little sista is already 7 years old. A part of the selfish me don't want her to get older. I don't want to see her growing more and more like an adult. or behaving more and more like one. I don't want her to face the hurts that she is going to face as she grows up. I can't bare to see her fall down and stand up all by herself. Honestly, I don't know if I'm being over protective or just plain paranoid. I've always wanted a smaller sibling. and since my bro was born way before I learn that boys are stupid and damn irritating (no offense, but it's true!), Kevin doesn't really count. So the next time I begged my mum for a little girl. And guess what? I got what I wanted. Lol. Talk about being spoiled. Another part of me wanted to see Rachel transform into a lovely lady. I can't imagine how she would look like. I wanted to see her in her prom dress. I wish to be able to share secrets with her. And give her advice on boys. So far, she's been such a great gal. and an amazing sister. Though she does have her fair share of annoying me. I still love her. And I can't are the idea that one day she might be taken away from me, no matter how annoying or a sour puss she is now. Sometimes I feel like I would die for her. So, this is for you, my adorable,lovable,cute-to-death,sometimes-I-just-wish-you-can-shut-up sister! HAPPY BIRTHDAY,RACHEL! XOXO Cheers! jie jie tammie Labels: baby sister, birthday, siblings back to top? 5 comments |
