Hello Hurricane
you can't
silence my love
Speak up or die
Tammie says Smile!

Hello there, Stranger!
Welcome to my humble little blog.

The name's Tammie, but friends call me Tam (not 'thumb').

Who am I, you ask?
I'm not that smart top-scorer girl in your class.
I'm not that pretty lass you always see on the streets either.
I am passionate, stubborn and emotional.
My absolute most favorite thing to do is hanging out with people I care & love.
My passion burns for Jesus & photography.
I wish to travel more and see more.

This blog was created so I get to jot down my feelings.
Happenings in life.
That is, if I'm not too lazy to update ;)

Birthday Burger
Cousin Yin's birthday was yesterday. She wanted to have a birthday burger instead of a birthday cake.

When she found out that EuroDeli serves the biggest burger in Malaysia, she knows where to go for her birthday celebration :)

Euro Deli serves all non halal food and I guess I can say all the stuff they serve there are very Europe.
Big servings.
Even for beer.
Hello people.
He is excited to get such a big glass of beer.
I am not related to him.

Euro Deli is also famous for their super size pork burger.
They even have a special challenge for it.

If a person can finish the whole burger in 45 minutes, they won't have to pay for the burger plus, they will receive RM100 and a certificate acknowledging that they won the challenge.
But before you say 'SO EASY! LET ME TRY!'

Check out their hall of fame first.

Below are the people who tried, but didn't manage to complete the challenge:
 That's ALOT of people.

Full view:
Only 3 people won the challenge. lol.

Check out some funny things written on the polaroid of the challengers:
PWNED!

These 3 friends tried all at the same time.
REST IN PIECE(S) they wrote.

 4 BIG MAC EASIER.
lol xD

3 proud winners.

So what do you guys think?
Only 3 winners out of the dozen over participants.

That burger must be HUGE.

 aaaaaaaand you're right.

The burger is called the Matterhorn.

Tips: If you guys wanna order this burger, make a reservation for the order first.
If you don't, you'll have to wait 1 hour for the cook to prepare it.

 Yinnie with her Matterhorn burgah.

The pork patty is large O.O''
It took us 6 grown ups, 3 guys and 3 girls, to finish it up.

Would you take up the challenge? :)

Is that...a RIVER in a SEA?
It's been forever since I last blog about something amazing.

I found this on yew's tumblr reblog and it was mind-blowing.

Have you ever heard of a river inside a sea?
It's scientifically impossible for a river to be in a sea.. But a group of scuba divers in Mexico photographed pictures of something that looks like a river underwater.

Underwater photographer Anatoly Beloshchin took these photographs

This is a place called Cenote Angelita, Mexico.
It's a famous diving spot for advance divers.

At first when I saw the photos I was like, are you sure this is underwater??
The scuba diver in the photo confirms it is.

You can see tree branches, dead leaves and soil.
This place looks like a world of its own, defying science and  logic.

It would be wonderful to tell you that it really is a river you see in the photos but alas, that layer of 'river water' you see at the bottom of each photos are not actually river water.. It is in fact, Hydrogen Sulfide gas.

You know that smell when someone farts? Yeah, that's one of the wonders of hydrogen sulfide.
Hydrogen sulfide only accumulate in places where:
1. there is little oxygen
2. ventilation is low

Thus, we get the accumulation of H2S in Cenote Angelita, which looks like a river. Still amazing, non? :)

Anyhow, matters not if you are disappointed that it is not an actually river, view this video of the scuba divers swimming in Cennote Angelita where the 'river' is. The place is beautifully mysterious :')

Choulyew's surprise
See this girl?
It was her birthday- the 12th of Dec.

I LOVE seeing people's face when they find out they are pranked. That expression is priceless.

I told Birthday Girl I was going to meet Alex and wanted her to come with me.
I finally saw the epic expression I was waiting for, in the cinema when Julie and the gang walked in and sat beside me. Priceless! XD

After movie, we dragged Birthday Girl to Sushi king.

Out comes the phone for the pleasure of cam whoring :)

I was rather happy because of these photos I got:
 look up!
aww, cute faces :D

THIS is happiness caught on camera.
<3

THIS is 'yerrrr..' caught on camera.

The cake came out!
Count the 'e', there's 20 altogether.
Birthday Girl turns 20 that day.

 Inspecting her cake.
She's checking to see if it's real ;)

lol. Look at the cheeks. PUFFEY!
She has puffy cheeks XD

Cutting the cake with a gleeful expression.

We couldn't get a normal photo that day thanks to Kit.
 lol.

LET'S EAT CKAE WITH CHOPSTICKS!
That's how we roll in Sushi King. heh =P

Who's the prettiest girl that day? XD

Okay, truth is, we made her do this pose.
Then we made her post this as her facebook profile picture for 12th of Dec
until 12midnight, then only can she take this photo down.
AND she really did it.
What a good sport :D

It was fun.
After all that, what I want to say is already in the photo.
*points*
Happy? :)

#Day31 One Last Moment
I know I haven't apologize yet.

Sorry.

I mean it.

I haven't been carrying out my responsibility. The worst part is.. I haven't been a very good cousin. You know that. Sadly, I only realize that today.
I volunteered to do things without thinking about the responsibility that follows.

I guess this horrible feeling inside me is a punishment. Spoonfuls of guilt mixed with a tinge of self-anger.

So, my last moment to share.
It was when I realized that I don't really mind about short-lived things anymore, instead I focus on long term things. For this situation, at first, I didn't think I did anything wrong. I don't get why you were so pissed at me. I just felt that you've over reacted. I didn't even feel guilty. But then a feeling inside stopped me. I realized that if I don't apologize, I may lose this awesome cousin I've had. Thinking back, it was my fault. I agreed to it, but I never fulfilled it.

I was rather shocked at myself at this discovery.
A year ago, I would've been outraged and hold resentment at you.. But today? I just accept the fact that I've screwed up and try not to repeat it in the future.
No resentment, no hatred.
Exactly what the feeling inside me said.

I wonder if it has something to do with all the talking with Daddy Up There lately? He's been good to me. He opened up my eyes to many things lately.

Yes, I've messed things up. And I'm truly sorry. I promise not to be rash next time.
A moment of self discovery taught me all that.

Day #29 Your Aspirations
Welcome me back! haha

I know I've been MIA for a period of time. In reality, that period of time is my short sem. So now, I'm done with short sem, back to carefree days :D

Now, to continue #Day 29. lol. Don't laugh.

So, 2 days ago me,Yew, my cousins and bro went to DUMC for Madworld Performance. Madworld is the name of the play. La poster:

All of the performers are local, volunteers and TREMENDOUSLY talented.
I'm terrible at explaining story lines, so if you're dying to know what the play is about you're not gonna find out about it in this post. lol. BUT, you're not too late to go see the play for yourself. And that my friends, is even better then reading about it on my blog. You get to be there to FEEL it. EXPERIENCE it. LIVE it.

That day, MORE then 3 thousand people turned up. There were basically no parking left around Section 13. People were lining up just to get in the auditorium. Late comers were turned away because the auditorium were packed beyond it's limit of 3 thousand seats. Some people were even standing up to watch the play. God is good :D

I'm not even exaggerating, take a look:
This was the only photo I was allowed to take.. no photos are allowed after the play has begun :(

I'm pretty sure my eyes were the size of ping-pong balls throughout the play because the dancers and singers were absolutely stunning. Some are my age. One of the main characters is only 10! And she's just as stunning as the rest!

To view the photos of the play, click here the camera-> [o'']
Photos were captured by the talented photographer Grace Tan. Her works are amazing! :D

For more information on Madworld, click the heart -> <3

Anyone who hadn't experience Madworld before, PLEASE do.
It's worth all 1 and an half hour of your time.
Seriously.

Okay, so after experiencing this play, I felt that I've not done much for Him. I admire those performers who can give their all to God. My previous aspirations are somewhat concealed by this event. I want to rededicate my life to Him. Can that be my new aspiration?
