Hello Hurricane
you can't
silence my love
Speak up or die
Tammie says Smile!

Hello there, Stranger!
Welcome to my humble little blog.

The name's Tammie, but friends call me Tam (not 'thumb').

Who am I, you ask?
I'm not that smart top-scorer girl in your class.
I'm not that pretty lass you always see on the streets either.
I am passionate, stubborn and emotional.
My absolute most favorite thing to do is hanging out with people I care & love.
My passion burns for Jesus & photography.
I wish to travel more and see more.

This blog was created so I get to jot down my feelings.
Happenings in life.
That is, if I'm not too lazy to update ;)

Ever wonder how it's like to be dead?

I watched this movie today. The Lovely Bones. I never expect it to be so intense.

Have you ever wonder how people will react once they found out you're dead?
Honestly, I have.

This movie is like a story. Told by a 14 year old girl who uses this line to introduce herself :  'My name is Salmon, like the fish. First name, Susie. I was fourteen years old when I was murdered on December 6th, 1973.'
She continues to tell the story after she's dead.

I guess I can related to Susie Salmon.
Her first crush going to step in first love then all of a sudden, she was murdered. Everything was taken away from her at that moment. Her life was just about to begin when it was robbed away.

The whole movie is told from the eyes of a dead girl. Seeking revenge. Hoping someone could hear her voice.

Live life to the fullest. Once you're dead, there's no turning back.
That one thing I've learnt from the movie.

Granted, there were some scenes I think are cheesy. But hey, it's about the afterlife, which living person would have any idea about that? So that's forgivable.

I cried. Yeah. Told you I never expect this movie to be that intense.

"There was one thing my murderer didn't understand; he didn't understand how much a father could love his child."

And this line didn't help the tears from ceasing.

All in all, a movie worth watching.
I'll probably get the book soon ;)

What crazy things did u do today?
My ex-classmate nudge me on msn the other day.

I know for a fact that he doesn't find me unless there's something to kacau me about.
True enough, he invited to on web cam.
He type: "Accept! I want to show you something"

I hesitated.

He must have sense it because the next thing he typed was "Don't worry, it's healthy one."
His words, not mine.
XD

So I accepted the web cam invitation.
The first image I saw on his webcam was something like this:

haha.
Then he type: "Tell me when you're ready."
Suspense wei.
I was getting more and more suspicious and curious.

I was thinking 'Uhh...Can I not see what I think you want to show me?'
Of course I didn't tell him that.

I was curious as well so I type back, "Ok. Ready"

His next movement was so quick, I didn't get to response fast enough.

I was so shocked.

I just stared at the screen.

You guys wanna know what he showed me?

This is what he showed me:
XD
What were you thinking??

He's botak!
Bald.
haha.. he looks like he just came out of NS.

But seriously, after laughing my bottom off at his new hairdo, I interrogated him.

'Why suddenly cut botak?'
'Are you okay?'

Found out he and his friends just did it for fun.

(=.=")

Teen boys.
Go figure.
lol.

So I was thinking, what crazy stuff have I done before?
I can't think of anything!
Am I that un-spontaneous?
I wanna go bungee jumping someday.
Or a spontaneous backpacking trip across Europe (even Asia will do).

So, tell me!
What insane, on the spot things have you guys done before?

p/s: what would you guys think if I shave bald too?
just asking x)

Free outfit for me! :D
I got a package today.
I've been expecting it ;)

It's actually a pair of outfit, top and pants.
I ordered it on irenelim.com

The outfit costs RM70.
And that's not including postage fees.
They sent using Post Laju some more.

I love the comfy pants :D

Of course, like I said before, I don't have to pay a single cent for it *dance*
Not even for postage fees.

How come?
Well, that's because I join Project Witch.
The project is close for now.
But, there will be more in the future!
So don't sigh.

Thankies, Irene for everything :)
and MeiYee for promoting this.

Being chased by a white man with a golf club
So today something weird happened.

I was taking afternoon nap when I heard my little sister crying really hard.
I heard my dad ask her what's wrong.
My sister said betweens sobs 'Mr. B..'

I need to explain a little here, Mr. B lives in the same area me and my family are currently staying.
He's a really (my estimation is195cm) tall ang mo lang (Caucasian).
Mr. B is known to hate sounds of any kind.. he seems to hate kids most.
As most of you know, I work at the reception of the resort I'm staying now so I get to hear news of Mr. B a lot.
There's once, I heard, he went to the swimming pool and chase a kid out of the pool. Yes, he literally ran and chase the kid out. Because the kid was making too much noise.
Then there's another case where he went upstairs to the apartment unit above him and told the guest staying there to 'Teach your kids to walk properly' because he's staying at the apartment unit below.

So my dad immediately understood.
1. My sister went to the playground to play with her friends.
2. She came back crying.
Conclusion: Mr. B must've scolded them.
But what made my dad outraged was that Mr B went and took out a golf club and threated them with it. My mum was there, so she told us the story.

I know this sounds very confusing, so I drew a picture of this:
I wasn't there, but this is how I imagine it.
and that is exactly how Mr B look.
Very tall and bald.
Seriously.
Of course, the kids aren't bald but I lack creative juice to draw hair on them.

Mr B complained that the kids were too noisy.
But my mum said, which playground isn't noisy?
A quite playground is like a ghost town.

My parents then went to make a police report about this.
My sister was traumatized. I mean, it's not every day she was harassed by an intimidating tall white man with a golf club.

I kind of have mix feelings about this. I mean, yes, I've heard stories of how kids+noise intolerant Mr. B is..but I've never personally seen that side of him.
Every time he comes to the reception area, he would cheerfully call all the staffs by name and there's this once where he even  treated us with cheese tarts =3

So I actually pictured him as a nice person.
It disturbs me that a person you imagine as nice would do something like that to your family.

I also think that the police report maybe a little too much.. I dunno.. I'm quite confused how to feel or react now.

So what do you guys think?
I didn't blog about this so I can laugh at the kids or insult Mr. B.
I blog so because I like to hear what you think.. I need a 3rd point of view.
